We have been proudly treating families in the Arlington, MA and Bedford, MA communities for over 20 years. Dr. Garber is a preferred provider of adult orthodontics, Invisalign. Dr. Garber and our dedicated staff handle everything from emergency broken teeth to crowns to teeth whitening, routine cleanings to everything in between! Easily accessible by bus and open late and on periodic Saturdays to accommodate all of our patients, we welcome adults, seniors, and children to both of our practices for whatever dental needs you may have.
PEDIATRIC SPECIALIST, INVISALIGN DENTIST, COSMETIC & FAMILY Dentistry specializes in Implants, Crown, Bridge, Implant Overdentures, Root Canal Therapy, Snore Guards, Sleep Appliances, Sports Guards, Implants, Preferred Invisalign Provider, Tooth Whitening, and Preventative Dentistry for all ages. We service communities of Arlington, Cambridge, Bedford, Belmont, Billerica, Boston, Burlington, Concord, Medford, Lexington, Somerville, Waltham, Watertown, and Winchester neighborhoods. The practice originated in Arlington in 1991 and expanded into Bedford (Bedford Dental Associates) in 1999.
Dr. Michael Garber, the founder, graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 1981 and holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in education from Syracuse University. Dr. Garber is board registered in nitrous oxide, a Preferred Invisalign Provider, specialized in Snore Guards and Sleep Appliances and he provides the latest technology in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Garber is a member of the ADA and Mass Dental Society, as well as a member of the Tufts alumni association. He is married and the father of four children, enjoys the outdoors, gardening, fishing, and boating. He also enjoys the craft of woodworking.
Dr. Garber employs dedicated dentists, specialists, hygienists, and assistants at both of his locations. All professional staff are trained in OSHA and receive annual continual education units. Both locations have state-of-the-art dental equipment and provide a healthy environment which ensures that patients receive quality dental care. Both family and cosmetic dental practices continue to treat patients with care and expertise.
Dr. Matthew D. Lann (PERIODONTIST) attended Union College in Schenectady, NY as an undergraduate and earned his D.D.S. degree from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York (2000). After dental school, Dr. Lann graduated from the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine where he earned a Certificate in Periodontics and a Masters in Medical Science (MMSc, 2003). As a part of the MMSc, he participated in research at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston. Dr. Lann has been in private practice since 2003 and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 2004. Dr. Lann has extensive training and experience with all aspects of periodontics including prevention, surgical and non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease, periodontal cosmetic surgery, implants, and regenerative therapy. Dr. Lann is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and American Board of Periodontology. When not working, Dr. Lann has an active family life with his wife and two children.
Dr. Idar Hsin (PEDODONTIST: Pediatric Dentist)
Dr. Idar Hsin received an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Biology from Washington University in St. Louis. She earned her D.D. S. degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and completed a pediatric dental residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She is a board-certified pediatric dentist with extensive experience in private practice and is credentialed to work at the Franciscan Hospital for Children where she routinely treats pediatric patients in a hospital setting.
She strives to ensure all patients have a positive experience during their visit and believes in the importance of educating patients at a young age about building good oral health.
Originally from Chesapeake, Virginia, Dr. Hsin has lived and practiced in Boston for over a decade. Away from work, she enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Anne, RDH. Anne has been part of Dr. Garber's dental team since graduating 7 years ago. She was raised in Arlington, Ma. Anne has a gentle friendly chair-side manner which makes her clients trust her and allows her to educate them with the most updated dental education for optimal oral hygiene.
Desiree, RDH. Desiree graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 1998 with an associate's degree in Criminal Justice. She then decided to pursue a career in dentistry and became a Dental Assistant while studying Dental Hygiene at Middlesex Community College. She graduated from the program in 2005.
Desiree enjoys creating long-lasting relationships with her patients and especially enjoys teaching good oral health habits to her pediatric patients.
Desiree is married to her high school sweetheart Jordan and they just welcomed their first child, Willa Grace, in May 2013. Desiree enjoys baking, painting, and spending time in Vermont at a family home.
Susan, RDA. Susan is a full-time lead dental assistant in the Bedford office. She often is seen in Arlington to share a helping hand. Susan is almost always smiling and loves sharing pictures of her incredible family.
Cindy, CDA RDA. Cindy has over 25 years of experience in the dental field. She primarily works in the Arlington office and loves meeting new patients!
Rhonda, RDH. Rhonda graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mount Ida College in 2006 and is certified to give local anesthesia. She loves educating her patients on their oral health and believes that creating a healthy oral environment leads to overall better health. But what she enjoys most is building relationships with patients and providing excellent dental care. When not working Rhonda enjoys yoga, volunteering, and cheering on the Bruins.
Danielle, Bedford Administrative Manager. Danielle grew up in Belmont with 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Danielle loves her job and that she can be apart of the big picture for all of Garber's patients. If you have a question, she will get the answer, whether it be a treatment issue, financials, insurance inquiry, or scheduling an appointment. She is the go-to person for almost anything needed at the office and is happy to help whenever asked. In her free time, Danielle loves to spend time with her husband and 4 children. They love to travel and spend time with extended family. She also enjoys crafting!
Jessica, Front Desk. Jessica has been working in the dental field for the last 4 years and has recently joined Dr. Garber’s team. She is one of the first faces you’ll see when stepping into the office and will be ready to greet you with a smile. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time at home with her husband and their dog, Cody.
